Corporate Social Responsibility is the set of legal and ethical obligations derived from the impact that a company’s activity has on society. For Eclipse Climbing Holds, being socially responsible means recognizing and integrating the social and labor concerns of Albacete (Spain) into our daily management. That is why we have developed policies, strategies, and procedures in the social, economic, and environmental areas to contribute positively to our community.
Within the social area, since 2017 we have collaborated with AMAC Albacete, the Association of Women Affected by Breast and Gynecological Cancer. This non-profit health and social organization is made up of more than 700 women whose mission is to help overcome the disease and defend their rights.
Without a doubt, AMAC Albacete helps women climb one of the toughest walls they may ever face.
Their main goals include:
- Encouraging solidarity among women affected by cancer, to create support networks in family, social, and work environments.
- Providing information and support throughout rehabilitation and treatment.
- Promoting and advocating for better clinical care for cancer patients.
- Supporting research on breast and gynecological cancer.
- Raising awareness among young people about the signs and symptoms of cancer, as well as the importance of prevention and healthy lifestyles.
AMAC Albacete was founded in 2000 by a group of women determined to help others overcome cancer. In 2001, thanks to the management of the University Hospital of Albacete, they achieved the opening of a Lymphedema Unit. Since then, AMAC has become a consolidated association in Albacete (Spain), steadily growing in membership. The organization actively participates in forums and councils, and is part of the Regional, Provincial, and Local Women’s Councils.

Their constant advocacy work includes:
- Ensuring every woman has access to physiotherapy services, so that no one is left without treatment.
- Equal access to treatment across the autonomous communities of Spain, guaranteeing the same standards of care everywhere.
- Reducing surgical waiting lists in Albacete to a minimum; women needing cancer surgery or breast reconstruction should wait as little as possible.
- Preventing isolation, ensuring that women affected by cancer receive the support and treatment they need until full recovery.
- Providing information through talks, awareness campaigns, and programs that promote healthy habits and cancer prevention, ensuring that no one remains uninformed.
