How to Install Climbing Holds on Concrete Walls?

This system is safe and economical.
Below we describe you with the help of graphics how to install the hols correctly in concrete with this system.

1- Drill a hole in the wall

With a drill bit equal to the outside diameter of our  drive anchor for the M10 screw we will use a 12 mm drill bit (it is advisable to use a drill bit of a smaller size first) and check that the depth is adequate for the screw to be levelled with the wall (and never overlapping).

2- Clean the hole with a small brush or blow with a small tube to remove the dust.

3- Insert the drive anchor.

4- Insert a screwdriver

(A Phillips screwdriver can do the job) into the hole and hit it with a hammer. This way, the drive anchor inside the hole will go to the very bottom, connected firmly with the concrete wall.

5- We did it! Now we only have to add our holds with  Allen screws as we like.

6- Attention!

If the Allen screw we use is longer than necessary and when tightening it, it touches the bottom of the hole before the hold rests on the wall: do not keep screwing., it will break the drive anchor

There are two possible solutions to this problem:

-Using a screw of a shorter length is the quickest and easiest, but if we don't have them....

1º Loosen the hold and remove in from the wall.

2º Place only the screw in the hole and hit it with the hammer until it is inserted to the desired depth.

3º Remove the screw and re-drill until the desired depth (insert a screwdriver inside the hole and hit the drive anchor with a hammer).

4º Replace the hold with the Allen screw and ..... TO CLIMB!!!!!

What is left to do? CLIMB!
